Proceedings 4. Different modernisms

The texts of this paper come from the international conference “Different Modernisms, Different Avant-Garde”, which took place at the Kumu Art Museum on 27-28. September 2007. his artistic convictions. The organization of the conference and the reports presented at it are part of the 1990 conference. The process, which began in parallel in many countries in the mid-19th century, in which the art history of the countries belonging to the Eastern Bloc of Central and Eastern Europe, and thus the history before the fall of the Berlin Wall, was largely rewritten. These are very broad-based research topics, from repositioning the meanings of local art colonies to analyzing and expanding the concept of global modernism.
