Proceedings 13. Research from EKM collections

This special issue of the Proceedings dedicated to the collections of the Estonian Art Museum continues in a sense the tradition of a series of publications called the Collection of Collections of the Estonian National Museum of Art. Like the collections of articles of that time, this publication also takes a closer look at works of art or collections belonging to the collections of the Estonian Art Museum. In their articles, authors from art historians, collectors and conservators analyze the historical and museological background of the formation of collections, the problems of attributing works, and preservation and conservation practices. The field of topics, artists and eras covered is very wide, giving an idea of the great diversity of the collections of the Estonian Art Museum.
