Russian rulers. Ruler portraits from the collections of the Estonian Art Museum

The book accompanying the Kadriorg Art Museum’s exhibition “Russian Rulers” (20.10.2006–27.05.2007 and 15.06. – 09.09.2007) contains an overview of portraits of Russian rulers in the collections of Estonian museums, a list of Russian imperial orders, biographical data of Russian rulers, numerous reproductions and a comprehensive catalog. The visits of Russian rulers to Estonia, the exhibition of the ruler’s portraits in the State Hermitage, and Christina Robertson’s works at the Winter Palace and their copying are also examined.
